CLEAR GLASS

The most common glass type. Clear Float glass is optically clear to look through, however possesses an inherent green tinge due to the level of iron content within the glass.

LOW IRON GLASS

Low iron glass is ultra clear and provides a higher degree of transparency than clear float glass. This degree of transparency is achieved by removing the iron content within the glass float process. The improved clarity of low iron glass compared with clear float glass is noticeable when placed against a coloured background, and when viewed from the edge of the pane. This makes low iron glass the preferred option for painted and printed glass products.

FROSTED GLASS

Frosted glass is commonely used to provide varying degrees of privacy. The etched surface has a milky white appearance which when applied to different glass types limits the optical transperancy.

PATTERNED GLASS

Patterned glass involves embossing a pattern or design into glass, creating a unique, eye-catching textural effect. This glass is generally used where a level of discretion is desired.

TINTED GLASS

Glass tinting helps control the passing of heat and light by absorbing a degree of solar energy. Available in various transparent tints, Bronze, Grey, Blue and Green are popular options.

REFLECTIVE GLASS

Ideal for reflecting natural light and heat, and (dependent on the level of reflectivity), this type of glass can also afford you increased privacy around your home or office space.

LOW-E GLASS

Low Emissivity glass achieves higher levels of energy efficiency and heat retention. High Performance Glass specifications take into consideration daylight, energy, thermal, acoustic and security factors.
